2GBHosting - Web Hosting Reviews

2GBHosting offers a very cheap web hosting plan. It actually costs a little less than one dollar a month. There are other web hosting companies that offer similar plans, and I tried one of them too. But 2GBHosting has proven to be far better than that one.

However, this company has its shortcoming, too. Their server is not totally stable. It goes down several times a week in the case of the server where I hosted one of my websites. Look at the uptime statistics below:

The cause of the trouble seems that someone is using too much of their server resource. I often contact 2GBHosting technical staff, but they almost always say that their server is working fine. But I check out their server status with two server monitoring services from different countries and I also check out at Down For Everyone Or Just Me.

Three months have passed since I signed up with 2GBHosting, but I am getting dissatisfied with their service lately. This kind of trouble never happens at this rate at several other web hosting companies I have contracted. Maybe I should move this website somewhere else and run a much less important one there instead until the contract expires.

Their 99.9% uptime guarantee seems to be a joke.
